Pricing, scheduling, and other logistics
for individual lessons

Age & Skill Range:
Individual instruction for kids aged 3 and up, on violin or viola, aged 6 and up for piano, cello, bass, guitar, ukulele, or
mandolin. Our teachers can handle absolute beginners up through advanced players.
Instrument:
You'll need to provide your own instrument. If you don't have one we can help you find one.
Semester schedule:
Summer 2010 semester starts the first week of June.
Fall 2010 semester runs from August 23 to December 19.
Winter / Spring 2011 semester runs from January 3 to May 28.
Students may register for lessons at any point during the semester.
You may also arrange lesson times during semester breaks if your teacher is available.
Lesson schedule:
Lesson times are arranged by mutual agreement between student and teacher. Most students meet with their teacher
once a week.
Fees:
Lesson fees are $35 per hour, which averages about $70 per month if you take weekly half-hour lessons. (We have
limited scholarship funds available based on financial need.)
You may pay by the month (fees due in advance, at the first lesson of each month) or by making one bulk payment at the
beginning of the semester.
