Classical repertoire with an emphasis on group cooperation, personal challenge, and fun!
For kids aged 8 through high school who play a bowed instrument. You should be able to read music
to play in this group.
Curriculum includes sectionals and large group rehearsals taught by experienced professional
instructors and performers. Classes will be held at the Community Center for the Arts (C4A) at
Lincoln Square, Urbana.
Week-long session: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to noon, August 3—7

We plan to continue this group during the school year and will include mandolin or guitar players who
want to have fun leaning and performing tunes from the classical repertoire.
