Beginning Fiddle Class A group class for people who play violin, viola, cello, bass, mandolin, or guitar at a beginning skill level and want to spend lots of time on basics and learning a few tunes really well. |
This class if for adults who can play at a beginner level and are willing to play just a few tunes
really well in order to improve their overall skill levels. There will be sheet music available, but
you don't have to be able to read to participate. If your skills are more advanced than beginner
level you should check into our Advanced Beginner & Intermediate Fiddle group.
The classes will be led by Kelli McQueen, who is an assistant with the Bow-Dacious String
Band for kids The tunes will be selected from the Bow-Dacious String Band repertoire, and will
be primarily old-time, Irish, international folk, and rock classics.
Fall semester classes will meet Mondays from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, starting September 8. The fee
