The Natural Way to Draw
Instructor: Lori Caterini
Beginning and intermediate drawing based on Kimon Nicolaides'
classic book, "The Natural Way to Draw."
Lessons will engage all of the senses, giving the student a
holistic understanding of form, mass, contour, and movement.
Nicolaides brings out the poetry of these ideas while keeping
things grounded and practical.
Most sessions will be held at the Community Center for the Arts
at the old post office building in downtown Urbana,
202 South Broadway,at the intersection of Broadway & Elm,
just north of Lincoln Square Mall.
We will be drawing from the model as well as still life and
drawing from life on location, so some sessions may
take place in different locations.

Meeting time: Tuesdays 7-9pm
Dates for next session: March 1st through April 26th (8 weeks)
The fee for this class is $120 tuition + $25 model fee.
Limited scholarships are available, based on financial need.
