Mask-making workshop! Our art instructor and her helpers will help you make a mask to take home! You can show it off in our costume parade!
Costume parade at 4:30 Music and general fun will set the scene for our costume parade! Bring your favorite costumes from home, make a mask at our workshop, or borrow items from the IMC Costume Shop! Of course there will be beads!
Upstairs: "Try it!" Tent Try out instruments--it's fun! C4A faculty and senior students will be on hand to help and answer questions.
Special music workshops!
Workshops in violin, mandolin, or ukulele taught by our faculty members. If you attend one of these workshops you should be able to learn enough to be able to jam with members of the Bow-Dacious String band in our workshop concerts upstairs. If you want to stick around you may also perform with the whole band on-stage downstairs!
Banjo workshop: pick up historic tidbits as you learn about different banjo styles in this workshop hosted by faculty banjoists Tom Faux and Ken Holmes. Bring your banjo if you like!
Face Painting! Get a fabulous new identity at the hands of our face-paint pro! You can show it off in the costume parade!
Watch a violin repairman at work! Justin Hacker from Casa del Sol Violins will be on hand to show you about violin making and repair! Do you have a violin-family instrument you'd like Justin to look over? Bring it in! He may be able to do small repairs on the spot, or he can arrange for you to have your instrument repaired another day.
