ADULT OPEN STUDIO
If you have always wanted to do art but haven't had the time, want structure to help you move forward in your
work, or just want to learn new skills and explore new possibilities this class is for you.
Beginners (or more advanced students who want to find their voice as artists) ages 15 and up can explore a
variety of 2 and 3D media and techniques in a fun and supportive environment.
Students have the option of using new media, non traditional materials, and site specific work.
Sessions will be held at the Community Center for the Arts at the old post office building in downtown Urbana,
202 South Broadway,at the intersection of Broadway & Elm, just north of Lincoln Square Mall.

Class meeting time: Tuesdays 7-9pm PLEASE NOTE DAY CHANGE!
This semester starts in September. You may join any time!
Fee: $60 tuition + $10 materials fee (if you use C4A materials) per month (4-class session)
Limited scholarships are available, based on financial need.
There are flexible start dates. If you join after the first week of the month your fee will be
prorated for that month.
